Architectural practice in the U.S. included schematic design and construction-focused projects in New York and Los Angeles. From 2015 to 2022, led her own architectural firm based in Ankara, Turkey, delivering a wide range of projects such as shopping malls, educational facilities, residential and commercial buildings, as well as government projects.

Brighton Beach, New York — Urban Transformation & Immigrant Adaptation in 2060

Conducted an in-depth study on the transformation of the urban fabric and the future adaptation of immigrant communities in Brighton Beach by the year 2060.

• Analyzed the historical evolution of Coney Island and assessed the projected impacts of global warming by 2060.

• Researched the social and cultural background of immigrant populations, identifying their current conditions and anticipating their future needs.

• Re-designed public and semi-public spaces to support informal economies, local community networks, and cultural interaction.
